Joe was born in Central Ohio in 1994. He graduated high school in 2012. At the age of 16 he wrote and published his first book on The Ohio State Reformatory, largely known for it’s use as Shawshank State Prison in The Shawshank Redemption. Two years later in 2012 he wrote and published his second book, Louis Bromfield and his Malabar Farm, about local author and farmer, Louis Bromfield. One of Joe’s best friends died in a car accident in December of 2011, so he dedicated that book to him. Now, 10 years later and recovering from a 210 day hospital stay, Joe is writing his Thrid and forthcoming book, WTF Happened From Start To Finish. A COVID-19 Journey.
Before contracting a life changing case of COVID, Joe had many interesting hobbies. In 2014 Joe started his career in the Powersports industry, later becoming the General Manager at the dealership he worked for in 2017, he would hold that position until December of 2022, when he was hospitalized. Joe enjoys a lot of things, including traveling to the Caribbean via Cruise Ships. When Joe isn’t riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, quads, or side by sides or at some exotic Carribbean island, he is known for doing many other things. In the spring of 2021 he won the championship in his R/C racing class at his local RC Race Club. Two weeks before being hospitalized, Joe had bought a new gun, one he had dreamed of owing since he was a kid and did a report on Al Capone; A Thompson Sub-Machine gun, A.K.A. A Tommy Gun. On top of riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, quads, side by sides, taking cruises to the Caribbean, and shooting guns, Joe enjoys shopping, going to the movies, driving around aimlessly for hours with one of his friends just talking and listening to music, going out to eat, painting, playing with dogs, and so much more! Touring historical sites, ghost hunting, cooking, and obviously, writing are more of Joe’s hobbies! See pictures below for more information!
